JUST FOR LITTLE GIRLS…
LATEST ADDITIONS TO LIFESAVER RANGE
After lots of research and positive feedback, Between the Flags has again, further expanded its range of Lifesaver beach and swim wear - this time catering to our smallest ladies of surf aged 0 – 8years.

Some BTF store managers have witnessed siblings fighting with each other as mums and dads were more inclined to buy Lifesaver gear for their boys as the current range doesn’t have enough “girlie” appeal. We’ve been listening – now there’s something for everyone.

The new girl’s additions will be rolled out to stores from July 12 and is available now from our on-line store.
BTF SPONSORS ALL-GIRL YACHTING TEAM
Between the Flags Port Douglas was approached by the all-female sailing crew of 32ft yacht Groove to help with team outfits for the Clipper Cup held during the Reef & Rainforest Carnivale in Far North Queensland late last month and for the upcoming Australian Women’s Keelboat Championships in Melbourne weekend of June 12 -14.

Groove heads out for the start of the Clipper Cup series. The all-girl crew came 3rd behind Skulduggery skippered by Doug Ahola and Mal Richardson’s Big Ice.

Tamarama to Clovelly Ocean Swim

Easter Monday, 5th April 2010
Congratulations to all those who swam in the Tamarama to Clovelly Cliffside Odyssey! What an exciting event for competitors and spectators alike. Between the Flags was proud to be one of the many sponsors supporting this ocean swim event in its third consecutive year.
Conditions were extremely difficult from the start; getting beyond the break was particularly challenging but navigation through the narrow opening at Clovelly was particularly harrowing with huge waves dumping swimmers into the bay and eventually across the finishing line.
A confirmed shark sighting off Bronte and advice from the Waverley and Randwick Lifeguards forced the race to be cancelled half way through the fleet.
